About the people behind CoEng Advisors:
John Molnar, P.Eng., LEED AP
Founder, Director of Engineering
After 10 years in design and sales of leading edge Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning / Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Systems, John Molnar has founded CoEng Advisors to set out and make a measurable difference in the sustainability of the existing building market. He is a Professional Engineer in Ontario, President of the Hamilton Chapter of ASHRAE, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a member of the Association of Energy Engineers. He has built his reputation through strong ethics in an industry that challenge’s one’s character everyday. John’s guiding compass is ensuring that what is being done is in the best interest of the client.
After walking through hundreds of building mechanical rooms, it’s obvious that there is much more that needs to be done to ensure that the building owners and tenants can afford to operate their buildings in the coming years. It is absolutely shocking to see and quantify the waste of resources that is occurring in buildings today. Change is achievable, so long as the right team is put together for each client. John Molnar has a vast network across North America to readily deploy teams wherever a project may take CoEng Advisors.

Director of Sales & Marketing, Energy Storage Solutions
Bruce Boudreau has been working as a management professional in continuous improvement and information technology and systems since 1999. In 2005, he transitioned into manufacturing operations management.
Bruce earned his MBA at the University of Wales, an accredited Lean Black Belt designation at MSI, his Project Management Certificate from the University of St. Louis, a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification, and his undergrad in Computer Science at Trios Institute of Technology.
In his work in continuous improvement, Bruce was given the designation of primary factory of Purina North America to oversee and understand how to implement a Lean Six Sigma program with true cultural change management. In manufacturing operations, his accomplishments include having reduced raw material manufacturing waste from 10% to 2.5%, increasing throughput from 300 to 400 tonnes/day, and establishing a succinct cascading and escalating management routine program for the whole operation (management to plant floor). Bruce also later worked in the corporate level management as part of the cascading and escalation process.
In Bruce’s latest role, his focus is business development for Energy Storage Solutions, CoEng Advisors’ newest business unit at CoEng Advisors. He is also dedicated to delivering high quality educational training to the industrial sector, providing energy consumption strategies that lower hydro-electric costs by up to 80%. Finally, as creator and author of “The Energy Waste Sensei” series of posts here on CoEng’s Energized blog, he aims to develop the skills of new “Energy Waste Ninjas” and grow a community of Lean Energy practitioners!
